Materiaali-insinöörikilta

Tampereen yliopiston materiaalitekniikan opiskelijoiden ainejärjestö

Honorary people

The honorary persons of the guild are honorary members, individuals who have received a badge of merit, and the “Mikkiläinen of the Year” recipients. The honorary committee makes decisions on granting honors based on proposals from the membership.

Honorary members

Every five years, particularly distinguished members of the guild are selected as honorary members in general meetings. These individuals have left a lasting mark on our guild. Only a few individuals have earned this highest honor.

Our rules state the following regarding honorary membership: “The guild meeting may invite a person as an honorary member of the guild by a three-quarters (3/4) majority vote if the individual has been particularly distinguished in the guild’s activities or has otherwise significantly advanced its objectives.”
